Crochet Scarf

$15.00

Crochet scarf, entirely handmade by me. It measures approximately 4.5 inches wide and 45 inches long. It's not as long as shown in the photo so it can be more comfortable inside a coat. It's a very simple cream color with fringes. Made with #4 acrylic wool yarn.

The washing process
Soak the garment: Submerge the garment in the soapy water and let it soak for 10-30 minutes. Avoid soaking it for too long, especially if it's wool or knit, to prevent it from losing its shape.
Rub gently: With your hands, move the garment and gently press the fabric to allow the soap to penetrate and remove dirt. Never twist or rub vigorously, as this can stretch or break the fibers. If there are stains, use a soft-bristled brush and scrub gently.
Rinse well: Empty the container and rinse the garment several times with clean, cold water until all soap residue is gone. It's crucial to make sure the water runs completely clear.

Drying
Wring without twisting: To remove excess water, gently press the garment between your hands. Do not wring or twist it to avoid damaging the fabric.
Use a towel: Lay the garment on a clean towel and roll them up to absorb as much moisture as possible.
Dry flat: Lay the garment flat to dry. If it's a knit or wool fabric, this will prevent it from warping. Avoid direct sunlight, which can damage the fibers and cause color loss.
